A man damaged a wheel rim driving over a pothole. He wrote to the Bonaire island authority (OLB) claiming compensation. Getting no response, he contacted the National Ombudsman. Repeated urging by the Ombudsman also failed to elicit a decision. More than two years after submitting his claim, the man eventually heard that compensation would be paid.
