National Ombudsman and Ombudsman for Children teams come to the Caribbean Netherlands

Free walk-in sessions for residents of Bonaire, Saba and St Eustatius

    In November, teams from the National Ombudsman and the Ombudsman for Children will visit the Caribbean Netherlands. Anyone having problems with a government agency or other official body is welcome to discuss their questions or complaints with us at a series of free walk-in sessions.

    The sessions are open to people with questions or complaints about organisations such as the Public Entity, the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration, childcare, school or the police. 

    The sessions will be held at the following times.

    Bonaire 

    • Wednesday, 13 November from 09.00 to 11.00, Jong Bonaire
    • Thursday, 14 November from 14.30 to 16.30, Fundashon Cocari, Rincon
    • Friday, 15 November from 09.00 to 11.00, Plasa Chiku Goeloe
    • Saturday, 16 November from 09.00 to 11.00, Jong Bonaire

    At the walk-in sessions on Bonaire, Dutch, English, Spanish and Papiamentu are spoken. 

    St Eustatius (Statia)

    • Monday, 25 November from 09.00 to 11.00, Lions Den, Concordia
    • Wednesday, 27 November from 13.00 to 15.00, Public Library, Oranjestad

    Saba

    • Thursday, 28 November from 14.00 to 16.00, The Library, The Bottom
    • Saturday, 30 November from 09.00 to 11.00, Child Focus Building, Windwardside

    At the walk-in sessions on St Eustatius and Saba, Dutch and English are spoken.

    You can submit a complaint or question at any time

    Anyone who is unable to come to a walk-in session may ask their question or submit their complaint in other ways.
